Privacy Notice

Last updated: 1 September 2026

This Privacy Notice explains how Financial Bloom Academy ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you use our website, assessments, reports, programmes, membership and newsletter (the "Service").

1. Who is responsible for your data

Financial Bloom Academy is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. You can contact us about privacy at any time at support@financialbloomacademy.com.

2. What we collect and why

We collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Identity and contact details — name and surname, email address, country, and (where you choose to provide it) WhatsApp number. Used to create your account, deliver your report or programme access, send your purchase receipts and provide support.
  • Assessment and programme responses — your answers in the Where Is My Money Going?™ diagnostic and The 30-Day Money Reset™ tools. Used to generate your personalised results and reports, and to save your programme progress.
  • Login credentials and account data — authentication tokens and session data used to keep your account secure.
  • Support messages — anything you send us by email or through contact forms, used to respond to you.
  • Usage and telemetry data — pages visited, funnel source, device identifiers and IP address. Used for security, fraud prevention, product improvement and understanding how the Service is used.
  • Newsletter preferences — your name and email when you subscribe, used to send the Financial Bloom Newsletter (you can unsubscribe at any time).

Payment card details are collected and processed directly by Paddle (our Merchant of Record) — we never see or store your full card number.

3. Legal bases

We process your data on the following bases: performance of a contract (delivering your purchases, programme access and account), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention and improving the Service), consent (newsletter and optional marketing, which you can withdraw at any time) and legal obligations (tax and accounting records, handled together with Paddle).

4. Who we share data with

We share personal data only with:

  • Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of our products, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing;
  • Service providers and subprocessors who host and operate the Service on our behalf — including our cloud hosting and database provider and our transactional email provider — under contractual safeguards;
  • Professional advisers (legal and accounting) where necessary;
  • Authorities where we are required to do so by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers process data outside your country, including outside the UK/EEA. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.

6. How long we keep data

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes above — for example, for the life of your account or programme enrolment, and for the period required by tax and accounting law for purchase records. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

7. Your rights

Depending on your country, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, request a portable copy, withdraw consent (for example, unsubscribe from the newsletter) and lodge a complaint with your data protection supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, email support@financialbloomacademy.com — we respond within one month.

8. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls on our systems and row-level security on our database.

9. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar storage: essential cookies keep you signed in and remember your assessment progress; analytics storage helps us understand which pages and funnels are used. We do not use third-party marketing cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though essential features (such as staying signed in) may stop working.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this notice from time to time and will post the new version here with an updated date. Questions, requests or complaints about privacy: support@financialbloomacademy.com.
